I recently aquired a 14X24 drumm shell from keller via Ebay. I have this collection of snare drums, most are 14" dia. I have them stacked up in my drum room, to keep me going. lol Im sure all of you have experienced this:
One 14" snare stacked on top of another 14" snare, eventually will fall down, unless you realighn them regurlarly. I had a snare in progress (shell only)stacked in between two restored snares. They stacked perfect that way!
So, anyway, I bought a 14X24 shell to cut into 1" bands to stack inbetween my snares, so they will stack up nicely and not fall down, ever! I have surfed the net for solutions and invented a few myself on how to cut this shell down perfectly. I have decided to see if i can just have someone else do it, rather than invent a new machine that I may not ever use again. I am also gonna get a 3" to make a home made snare out of lol! or what size should i make?
