Just checked and the drum sold for $150. If legit, someone just got a killer deal! I've only seen a picture, in the Rogers Book, of a 10-lug wood-shell Powertone, but never a COB. The Philips-head lug screws are not original, but that's about it. Hope other Rogers experts will offer up info on this.

Forgot to also mention that the Powertone never had any badges on the outside to designate it. The SuperTen started out as an oval badge, like the Dynasonic, but was replaced by the "Big R" sticker around 75-76 I believe.

Correct, it would still have the script logo...and you can see it on the eBay drum.

BTW, DFO forum member "GrandpaCleve" has the same drum. He posted a picture of the badge with serial number 8784 and the same initials as the eBay drum. The eBay drum was sn 8783!

Wow. I didn't know these existed... I probably would have liked one when my PowerTone was my #1 drum.

I did become a fan of eight-lug drums in general... I think hearing a bit more 'shell' than 10-lug ones.
