once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Holy crap!! That's a lot of SS. No FT's? Can't tell from the pic. Doesn't look like the shells need much cleaning (also don't have my readers on).

Nice score and best of luck with the resto.

Yeah, but when all of that polishing polishing polishing is a labor of love, it's no big deal!

Man, how'd you run across these? Was it CL?

We all wish we could be so blessed!

Its gonna take some time to polish but as Bill said, labor of love, no big deal. The hardest thing will be the anticipation of seeing the whole kit shine as one. As we all know, that day when you finally get the kit together and ready to play, thats the climax, all the work has paid off and you are just so proud of yourself. So, get going I cant wait any longer!

now i went to the stainless site for theses luddys and find out that there mite only be 1 other kit this complete in cal(documented) so we are not talking piece meal kits, with all herc, hardware and cymbals this mite be 1 of 1 now we r talking some serious museum stuff here with that coliseum snare it sort of does a time warp

now i think about what the guy who sold it to me said at least i did not try to steal it from him some guys were offering 100 bucks for the set i payed what he asked without hesitation theses drums were in flight cases foam lined for 30 plus years the appraisal is some ware off the charts oh well i bought theses as a investment drum guess you cant do much better and the family drive up north was great, the amusement park was fun my daughter won this years American girl doll we went to sea life just great now what to do with all my drums there's not enough room at the show guess ill start with the least wanted to sell ...yes found these on cl
