With the recent BOT attacks and massive amount of attacks on the web site, we had to implement a variety of fixes. All of which is behind the scenes. You will see a new "News" box on the home page and forum which after you click "X" should dissapear for you.
This allows me the ability to keep you all updated better.
The registration has been turned off and a new "Contact" button (Currently Feedback) was added to the bottom of the Home Page so that I can manually add new members to the forum. That system is getting some fixes as we speek.
A new article section will be added so that I can either move content from the Vintage Drum Guide and or create new articles abnout stuff I have in my collection. Members will also be able to add an article, so that questions that come up often can have a landing spot for people coming in to the forum. You can direct them to the article.
The majority of problems are caused by my lmited budget and not keeping up on server maintenance and updates to .PHP. This is now taken care of since I entered into a monthly plan to make sure things are handled on-time and fixed quicker. As you know this is all self-funded, but I feel the history is important and having our knowledge-base is key to the future of the hobby.
If you are experiencing any technical issues, please use the feedback system to let me know.
Thanks!
David
