You may be able to source some 90o angle trim from an auto supply/trimmer. Something flexible (Vinyl ??) that could be adhered to the toms... Surpris...

There is a rich chrome plating on the Slingerland hoops, (be they either the 60's COB.. or the 70's + COS).. Cheers John

Looks to be either "Premier" or "Beverley"... (Same Lug)… look up 60's-70's Beverley Tom Lug.. and you'll find them... Also the backing plates...
