Slingerland Blue Glass Glitter

Yes, that looks like the mount that would have gone on the kick.

I suspected the drums were from different years, but they sound good and the price was right.

If I can't find a wmp or red sparkle kit, I'm going to rewrap them. Thanks for your help.

Something to think about ... most of the suppliers only sell the small chip. The vintage drums wore medium and large chip.

Precision sells the large chip pattern. Continental Pearl is more of a pure white, while their Sky Blue Pearl is probably closer to what Slingerland would have used. (Not vintage sky pearl....that is a Ludwig pattern. Avoid that if you are looking for a correct Slingerland finish)

The kit is not an "orphan", as you can see each drum has two brothers.

The Rogers kit was sold for $700. I like wmp and since this kit is not all oringinal,

it shouldn't make a difference if I rewrap it. Thanks for your interest.

Since the kit is not factory matched, have you thought about selling them individually on eBay? You would do pretty good there. This is a desirable finish and that bass is a very sweet drum ... as is that floor. You should be able to do better than selling it as a kit. Just a thought.

I don't do ebay anymore, too many fees and it favors the buyer.

The seller gets nothing but grief, no thanks.
