Zildjian Cymbal

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can help me out regarding a cymbal i have, which was left over from a kit i got sold of a few years back. A mate told me it might be worth holding onto and selling separately.

It is a 20" ride with hammering in excellent condition. No cracks, key hole in great condition, & no damage to outer edges.

Stamp marking:

[Star & Moon]

[Turkish writing]

K.Zildjian & Co

Genuine

Turkish Cymbal

Made In USA

Any feed back would be appreciated.

A K. Zildjian cymbal is more valuable if it's stamped "Istanbul", U.S.A. made K's are also desirable, depending on certain criteria. Some of the more desirable American K's are what's known as "EAK"s, which is short for Early American K. They are distinguished usually by the fact that they have a bold painted K on the underside of the cymbal.

As always, pictures are helpful.

Hmm, I haven't noticed the new ones having K on top and bottom....I know the old EAK's did, as did they have block lettering for the type of cymbal, where the new ones are more of a cursive style.
