Selling Gretsch Round Badge WMP

Loading...

The kit is in really good players condition. The sizes are 13-16-20 and the kit will include a 6 lug WMP round badge snare. I also have an 8 lug WMP round badge snare with the renown throwoff. All of the drums are in good condition, the issues that do exist are relatively minor - at least to me. The 13" tom has an extra hole under the tom mount, I didn't discover it until I took all of the hardware off to clean and polish the chrome, - I was bummed but you can't see the hole and it doesn't effect the sound. There is some cracking of the wrap on the floor tom and I had the bearing edges touched up - the drum sounds amazing now - not too good before. The wrap on the bass hoops is new but matches amazingly well, all of the wraps on the other drums are original and have yellowed nicely and uniformly. The kit will include the L-arm for the bass, a period correct gretsch hihat stand and a camco bass pedal from the period. I am asking $2400 with the 6 lug snare, or $2500 with the 8 lug snare. This price will include shipping or I will knock $200 off for local pickup. Send me your email and I will send pics. A phone number will help facilitate the process. This kit really does sound nice - just have my eye on something else and need to clear out the basement a bit.

I had a vintage Gretsch kit in gold satin flame, 12,16,20, in good condition with no extra holes, I sold it less than a year ago and was lucky to get $750, good luck.

if the snares are not original to the kit, then perhaps try to sell them separately.

you might be able to get more coin doing it like that.

reguardless though, i'd add some pictures of the drums to your post.

that way people can see if it's something that they would want and also would be more willing to purchase.

I'll try to add some pics when I get home, it always seems to be a pain - the filesize is usually too large. I have a few vintage snares that are also on the block, COB Dynasonic - everything but the heads original, including the Rogers vinyl bag and the Owners manual. A BDP gretsch 4157microsensitive in near perfect condition, and a Camco blue sparkle - I have two of those but the one I'm not selling matches my kit exactly colorwise.

sorry boys and girls traded the whole lot for an 18-12-14 yamaha maple custom

Super sweet kit - not vintage ( except for the color: vintage maple ) but very cool
