That being wartime, how many cymbals were made then? I know metal items were banned in wartime from being produced by various companies.

In the US, yes, but Turkey? Dunno.

Steel was the main thing that was banned. Apparently copper and tin wasn't because they made quite a few during that period. In any event this wouldn't have been a factor affecting cymbals made in Turkey.
