Zildjian K Istanbul 22" Intermediate stamp -- thin

Loading...

PRE-EBAY:

Beautiful 22" Intermediate for sale. Condition is flawless -- almost looks NOS. The previous owner bought it new in the 60's but retired soon after; later left it to his son who was a rock drummer and never used it, so it's been sitting around for the past 30 years.

WEIGHT: 2338 grams

SOUND FILE:

(Please excuse the playing)

Shoot me an email at mbuckner042@gmail.com or send me a PM with your email if you want more pics/info. As for price, the first $2000 takes the cake (or, erm... pie). Otherwise make me an offer. I'd really like to keep this one out of eBay if I can.

Good luck, I seriously doubt that you'll be able to get somebody to pay what you want for it, but we'll see.

The weight is important for most of us.

I know a guy who says 2700g is thin for a 22".

On eBay today its really hard to tell what anything will bring these days, so I don't even sell my any of premium cymbals on eBay these days. At Steve Maxwells in NYC they sell for around $2300 to $2700. They skim off 25% for the service of advertising and selling them. I've sold 3 of them over there lately and I netted out about $1700 each after they took out their share. It's a lot less hassle than eBay is.

Thanks Bill.

I bought a new stamp 22" lately. 2300g

and It feels a lot similar to modern cymbals. It sounds like a Zildjian constantinople light 22" I used to have. Actually it has more washy feeling.

Interesting. I've got a 22" KCon Light. Its a very nice cymbal, but mine doesn't sound like any old K 22" I've ever heard. On the other hand, my 22" KCon Med Thin Low does sound more Old K like except for the bell. I also have a 22" KCon Med Thin High which is a great jazz cymbal but less old K like than the Med Thin Low.

Got a weight on the cymbal, it's 2338 g, which makes it a good medium thin. Should be pretty accurate since the scale measures as accurate as 0.5 ounces.
