Yes, I haven't seen it in person, so sounds like its way over priced..Back to the drums at hand, The floor and the tom look great. Can't wait to see the finished kit...Kevins, did you treat the inside of the shells at all with liquid urethane or Tung oil?-kelly

I used teak oil..... I read on another forum it has some good properties, so I gave it a try. It takes a couple of applications, and I've only given them one treatment so far. Those interiors were very thirsty, I was surprised how much it took. It's been a few days now, so it would be time for application number two. This is by the directions on the can, not from any personal experience at all. I just hope it works out well!!

Teak oil, Tung oil... Possibly the same elixir?

I used about 1/2 pint of Tung Oil on the old Premier kit I'm restoring.

I love the finished look this stuff provides, not to mention the protection.

They are different... I don't know which does what better, just that I have read about both of them in a positive light.
