I have a 4pc. Sonor kit in Red Sparkle with matching snare drum that is mid 1960's. (12",16",14"snare,20"bass drum) This kit is also in great condition. Most of the wear is again on the wood bass drum hoops and also on the top snare rim. This kit is missing the bass drum cymbal mount (which is more typical of my luck) and I am suspicious of the 12" tom arm. It fits perfectly in the bass drum and in the tom but i'm not real sure about it. I'm still looking for a good clear picture of another mount of the period. The snare drum is also missing the snares. Other than that this kit is really cool. The lugs and lug placement on Sonors of this era look great. The lowest I can go on this kit is $550.00. Let me know if you have any questions or want more pics. Thanks
Rogers Holiday (Cleveland), Sonor (mid 60's)
Hi, will you sell the Sonor 12" tom only?
I know it's difficult, but actually I need the hoops only.

Huh???...........
Is this 1150 EACH or for both? The way your ad reads, looks like for both...
"I enjoy restoring 60s Japanese "stencil" drums...I can actually afford them..."I rescue the worst of the old valueless drums for disadvantaged Children and gladly accept donations of parts, pieces and orphans, No cockroaches, please...

It is $1150.00 for both kits.
I really don't want to sell parts off of either kit. I'll keep my eyes open for 12" sonor rims and let you know if I find any. I grew up in Kansas City and there seems to be more Sonor kits floating around there than average. Explorers Percussion sells them and before Explorers opened up Big Dudes sold them. I'm waiting on some other things from that neck of the woods so i'll ask when I hear back.
PM sent. Thanks.
if i had the $$$ i'd be all over this.
now thats a deal!
