Early Zildjian catalog/flyer history is a difficult mission. Basically as a company they were selling cymbals to drum companies directly and not as a company to the general public.
If someone was buying a cymbal they looked through the drum catalogs.
I have not been able to pinpoint when the first consumer catalog was printed.
What I would do is start using Youtube and watching early 60's videos of drummers and watching the cymbal stands. Study early ads and photos of jazz drummers of the time.
Also, there are no patents for this version of the cymbal snap, just the Cordes version that did not have the pivoting section.
A specific answer to a question like this might not be obtainable through normal research
