I'm a bit confused by the different photo galleries on this site. The "Drum Image Gallery" makes sense. A place to post pics of your finished drums. And I have posted there myself. But what's the deal with the "Drum Set", Snare Drum", and "Memorabilia" Galleries? It says no posting allowed but if so, how did those posts get there? Are those galleries only accessible to certain members? Also some of the posts have threads? How are people replying to those posts?
I'm a bit confused so I hope someone can fill me in. Thanks!!

I believe the instruction is intended to post just the essential pictures and description, and to limit the amount of "ohhhs and ahhhhs" replys that would likely trail in that type of thread.

But there is no "link button" to even make the initial first photo post!!??!

The rest of the galleries seem to be locked for some reason?
Yes "locked". It looks like those galleries may only be acessible by more advanced members as it seems that the posts all come from those who are at a higher level than just "member".

I believe that's where they are fed to for archiving. The posts are removed, leaving only the picture and credit. That would be history. I think this is how it works.
