I currently have this exact kit in my basement!! Original exact picture from the 1971 catalog. All blue and olive badges are dated 1969. How rare is this set to have or sell? Someone let me know. The snare is the 14". Original cases are still in decent shape.
Ludwig "Carioca" kit
this is probably fairly rare,What color or finish are they?? but they may be a hard sell with the timbales, did your kit come with the super sensitive snare drum?

Ludwig -Dude would be able to give you more info. The "Carioca Kit" came with Black Panther floor tom and bass, and the timbales are correct.

Yes it came with the 14" super sensitive 410. Bass and floor tom are panther black and timbales are chrome matching snare just like catalog. even have the cymbals with the kit!! I can prove they are from the original kit based on the serial numbers!
You definitely have one rare monkey on your hands, a totally original 1971 kit, and a rare finish, black panther!!! I honestly can't put a dollar amount on your kit!

If anyone knows someone interested in putting a dollar amount on this set, they can contact me directly at 330-401-3811. Only the true vintage guys know that this was a complete set and not mix and matched. The other great thing is that my dad was the original owner of this set. One thing I do not understand is according to the blue and olive badge numbers, they all date 1969!!

69 is a transition year for B/O badges. That is a nice kit. Can you post pics
of your kit? Actaully, start anotrher thread wioth your kit and it's pix. That is the only way to give a real look at it. The condition is what drives value.
