Hey Eric, those Fuji lugs appear to be the Pearl stencil snare lugs, identical to my red sparkle, which is on loan at the moment, so no pix...

Hey Jonni- these Fuji drums are quite sweet- like what we do to MIjs -take them to the next level- MIJs but made with care to detail- these drums (and Negi Drum Co too) have great snare beds and excellent workmanship -yet still in the MIJ timeline and tradition. Small batch makers. I will try to score this one and tell more. Negi Drum Co. and Fuji Drum Co. are really interesting to me for that fact. Let`s study them.

I just picked up an Aria snare, with cymbal mount that slides into the snare butt, and a cheapey little 12 inch cymbal. The snare stand though is what I bought this set-up for. An early TAMA or late Star adjustable basket stand in near mint condition I will post some pix when I get around to it. Paid 43 including shipping. I consider this a part of my purchase price. Since I normally don't intend to sell my collections, I tend to consider that as purchased price. In other words, the sale was 24.99 plus like 13 shipping so I paid 43-45 for the snare. For me this is pushing max-D

O-bop, those aren't the original hoops on the Gracy snare, are they?

These are all super nice looking, the Fuji (which looks like a Pearl to me as well,) the Gracy, and the Teisco set (wonder what that cymbal is!) Thanks for posting these pics!

Hey there, yes- I think those hoops are original Gracy- it`s hard to believe but most of the Gracy sets here from the late 60s and early 70s were using aluminum die-cast hoops- I have a Gracy set from 70/71 and those were the hoops on it. They are pretty heavily pitted (mine) - I think they needed to use a better chrome process. I have pics in my photo collection of another Gracy snare with these same hoops- singer
