Yes, well...I just looked it up to be sure and here's what I found:

Now, the description reads ATLAS hardware package...but there are the 1400 cymbal stands in the picture! Ah, well....Maybe we're both right....or wrong!

I guess the ATLAS only refers to the snare stand... just says cymbal stands in the text. Guess they mean 1400's? Also, mine is a '68... this catalog is from 70/71 I'm guessing??

Interesting. we don't have a 1968 catalog to reference, unfortunately. I know the Deluxe Classic was not in the 1967 catalog. The next catalog we have to reference came out in 1970, so that is when I have always associated the emergence of the Deluxe Classic configuration.

The wording IS a bit "funny" in that it could kind of be interpreted in two different ways. Maybe by 1970 the Atlas cymbal stands were available but in 1968 they weren't available?

I believe the Deluxe Classic first appeared in the '67 flyer that introduced Mod Orange and Psych Red.
