Older Pearl needs id please

From the badge style, these appear to be 1980-1983 (I know, not vintage but you guys know everything...)

BUT... look at the bd spurs... that's what has me stumped...

I don't personally have these yet, just wondering if I'm getting duped... aka Pearl badges on other set...

No, they are Pearl...just old Exports, before they badged as such. I hope you didn't pay more than buck for them. The snare is a bd boy though, I have one and it is a good drum. The rest...eh...they are what they are. Are the cymbals good?

I think 350.00 is high on the set.The set is the very low end of pearl same shells you would fine on the C.B.700 and maxwin drums pearl made 9 ply crap shells...I would not pay more than 200.00 for the set...Mikey

I agree with mikey777, and only if the 'cymbols' are good 'uns... $200.00 max. Funny thing about c/l cymbals, seen 'em spelled as 'simbols', symbals and described as 'round metal things'.

I liked the 'round metal things' as it was a Ludwig Standard 20" heavy ride (Paiste) two old Zildjian Akai 14" hats (first run, maybe late 70's ish?) and a Zildjian A 16 thin crash. Got 'em for $25.00.

Mikey's right on the money with the Maxwin comparison, except Maxwin's would have the older hex-rod mounts.I own a Royce set from the same era and I painted, then sanded the interiors to seal them. They have ended up being a very practical GB set after upgrading the hardware.Does this set have hex rod mounts?$350 is all the money, not really a "flip"price.I would buy these drums for $275 if they were hex rod mounts.Nice snare, cymbals, and useable hardware.Just change out the lousy spurs....

Buy it for the snare. It is a COB. Check the shell with a magnet first, but I'm almost positive it is a model B4514 from the late 70s
