OK I'm new to the private messaging and my inbox is full. I have made a new folder to put them in but can't figure out how to move the messages there. Can anybody help? I'd like to keep the old messages for awhile but want to continue to get new messages. Thanks for any help you can give me.
moving private messages
I'm not sure about that but I will say that I have received many pm's that I found particularly moving. There was one about a cat that really got to me. Fuzzy lil' guy worked his way through med school, still gets to me...
Everytime I get a PM, my blackberry email also gets the PM. I dont remember how I did this but the point is the PM's are now on my email where you can make folders, etc. very easily and delete the site PM's.

Click on Private messages.
Check the box to the right of the one(s) you want to move to a folder.
Scroll to the bottom of the page.
Where it says Selected Messages, choose your option (Move to Folder) and click Go.
A new page will open, where you select the folder you wish to place the PM in.
:)
Thanks Kevins.
However, be aware, it still takes up space your allowed messages. Total of 50, regardless where you keep them.

Maybe you could COPY _Paste into a word file and keep them outside of VDF?
Just a thought...
Tony
one of the options is
'download as text' ...
i put the rcvd in a folder on my hd named 'pm rcv' and download the pms into that folder. i do a somewhat similar thing to my sent pms.

Yeah, but you see, you are what we call organized...some of us...namely me, are not what you would call organized. More like disheveled...yeah, that's the word....
