19" Istanbul Pre-Split Sizzle Ride for 18" Crash

I bought this 19" Pre-Split Istanbul ride from another member here a few months ago. This thing is so sweet, but I'm really in need of a good crash and I'm more attached to my Bosphorus ride than this one. Perfect shape, beautiful hammering, no cracks, keyhole, warping, flea bites or any other funny business. Production date is stamped 1991, no signatures are apparent under the bell. 2 factory installed rivets make this thing sizzle for days! I don't have a scale, but I'd put it in the upper medium lower heavy range, typical of the pre-split istys. Its about the same as my medium 20" which is just over 2000g. Great stick definition with dark trashy overtones. This cymbal is a fantastic ride, but does not work well as a crash, so keep that in mind. Great for a left side jazz ride, thats how I was using it.
