Vintage Snare

I found a old marching snare and cant seem to find any information on it. It has a red sparkle shell. The only bade on it is square and says doc briller model. any information would be helpful

Can you post some pictures of the drum? Seeing the hardware and whatnot would probably give us some clues.

i can grab a picture monday cuz the drum is on my drum corp truck but i did find out doc miller was a drum corp player other than that i got nothing

I Googled the guy and found that he worked in a NYC music store in the 1950s and had drum corps connections -- the Skyliners, I think, as well as others he sold stuff to. I couldn't find any affiliation he might've had with a particular manufacturer.
