If the blue sparkle is a re-wrap and it is not a very old re-wrap...go ahead and try the Naptha anyway. I have used it on re-wraps that were almost a year old and it worked just fine. Take your time and let it set in a little bit before you start pulling (maybe a minute or so) It will not hurt to try.Good luck.

Not sure how old rewrap is...but thanks for the input and I am armed with putty knives, blow dryer, and naptha so I think my Friday night is slated. I'll post pics of the undressing in a bit.Walking

Currently working on a 7 piece virgin double bass 3 ply early 70's Ludwig kit to be wearing....MOD ORANGE.

that's a beautiful kit!

Do you sell any of those blaemireshells? I'd love to build such a kit for myself using all the fibes-lugs and stuff that I've gathered..

I do sell these shells. Right now I only have a couple of 12" tom shells.

But I do get shells quite often. I had 14 shells not long ago...but they go fast.

You can always buy shells one or two at a time and wait till you have a kit. I have done that more than once for different customers. Finding a complete kit can sometimes take a while.

BTW guys, these drums are featured in the November issue of Modern Drummer. It's the "kit of the month".
