Ebay is a far more Dangerous place than Craigslist nowadays, I dont blame the guy. You can be easily scammed on Ebay. If he prefers face to face, cash in hand, pick up only thats very smart for an item like that. Just check Ebay's Seller central or Paypal's discussion boards. Sellers are leaving in droves...

I sell on ebay and your telling me nothing new I hate the damn company, but craigslist sure Isn't no better a couple in my area was murdered by a scammer off craigslist 3 weeks ago, they were selling a car, the guy had them meet at a car dealership, and he shot them to death, they were great people, I meet people in public places with my Beretta 9mm now strapped to my side, I bought a blacrolite recently and told the seller I was packing and he responded so was he, we meet in a walmart parking lot, when I arrived there was a policeman in the parking lot I pulled right beside him, called the seller and told him I was beside the cop car in the parking lot, he was happy with that also, and he did have a pistol also a taurus 380!!

sweet mary!!! what is the world coming too? seriously though vintagemore, i'm sorry to hear about your friends. it's a shame that we have to live in a world where bad things happen to good people like that.
yeah, the only problem with carrying a gun is that you really need to have the safety off and a bullet in the chamber, finger on the trigger and ready to shoot. Because if you think that you can pull a gun out of the holster, take the safety off, c o c k it and then fire it with any kind of accuracy at an attacking opponent at close range, then you're fooling yourself.

o-lugs a Beretta 92fs is a semi-auto,9mm,it is already loaded and chambered, all I have to do is pull it from my quick draw holster and squeeze the trigger, and believe me at close range you ain't walking away!
Okay, well that shows how much I know about handguns. DOH All I ever shot was a rifle and a 4/10 shotgun as a kid. Pistols were for the police! But it just seems like you need to almost have one hand on the trigger. Because if the guy is going to shoot you, then he already has that in his mind. You, on the other hand, are trying to make a sale and your mind isn't on a gunfight....right? So, whatever kind of gun you have, you have to be in that mode to be thinking, "Okay, I have a loaded gun and I may draw it and fire it at someone....or maybe it will just be a regular sale." But, man, that's a Hell of a frame of mind to be in, imo.
I now always carry a pocket knife that I use to clean my fingernails, btw. Party
So here's the skinny on this drum it is a lady that owns the drum she originally took it to Steve maxwell's, for an appraisal, and a consignment sale, Steve spends his time photographing the drum listing it on his site, then she tells him she doesn't want to pay his fee's, so without steve's knowledge she probably wouldn't even of known what it was or the value, Say's she gonna list it on craigslist! Soap Box
there will be an article on metal gladstones coming out in the next edition of classic drummer magazine!!!
