It's actually a Oyster Blue set,not Black. Look at the tom pic.

That set is only about 20 miles from where I live!

Wish I would have got the call instead!

I don't think it will go that high...look at missing parts. Hoops from the toms, non-original snare, just too much that is not correct. I can see them going for 700-800 tho.

Did you see where a OYB JazzFest snare went for $3K recently on Evilbay?

He is a member of this forum and we ran a long thread on it, he finally chimed in. He wanted it and the seller had the reserve set at 3K. The seller actually wanted someone to contact him to make a private sale, off ebay, but the buyer said he just kept bidding it until the reserve was met. He wanted it that badly that he did not stop to consider contacting the seller about it. It is a good thing for some, however there is a guy in Dallas that saw that auction and now thinks his silver sparkle is worht 2K. I emailed the guy and explained the sitch, and told me to go do un-natural things to myself, in a very unfriendly manner. What an idiot. I even sent him the link to the thread...still insists because that one Jazzer went that high, they all should. His is worth maybe 600.
