I just did a search for this.....the item number provided comes up as a completed listing for a VGA video card for a PC.

Also, I did an ebay search for "carmine" under percussion, both US and UK sites.....no kit.....are you sure about this??

Vinnie Appice is a member of this Forum, I remember him stating the real kit is in a studio here in the U.S.A, maybe he'll chime in on this!

I know Carmine and the real maple kit is owned by my friend Randy Pratt who plays harp in Cactus. The drums are in his studio......My friend Bobby Rondinelli is using one of the bass drums for rehearsals in his home......

I had my doubts that this was the real kit....I found it a bit odd that one of Carmine's kits would end up in the UK, especially when Carmine still owns a lot of his old kits.....

Isn't that the replica of the kit that caused all the controversy with Slingerland? I remember reading an article in the Slingerland book about the kit that Carmine had used with Rod Stewart and is on the cover of the Realistic Rock book. In the Slingerland book, it's pretty much the same Ludwig kit, but on the reso heads of the bass drums below Carmine's first and last name is the words "Slingerland" DOH

In the first pic on the left side there's a BD head with an Ed. Shaunessy

(don't if the spelling is correct) logo on it.

I wonder if this guy's got one of his kits too! Hmmmm

Maybe it is both an Ed and Carmine kit...you know, list one set of pix as a Carmine it, change the heads and viola, you now have an Ed kit for sale as well....two not kits for the not price of one! And he keeps it all, next week they show up as Neil Peart's TAMA from "Moving Pictues" or something like that...hey, and after that, let's call them Copeland's!
