For Sale Section and CL listings

Loading...

Hi guys, I'm just making a suggestion here, can we please only post items that are for sale by members personally? Half of the posts on the first page are links to craigslist ads. If its your CL ad that's cool, but the majority of them are not. Everybody on this board knows how to search CL, we don't need to post every vintage ad from all over the country. If you spot an amazing deal and want to share it, then post it in the Ebay/auction section. There are a lot of people on here who are trying to sell things, and every craigslist link knocks their post down on the list giving them less traffic.

Am I out of line on this? What do you guys think? Maybe we should have a new CL section or revise the ebay section to ebay and cl?

How about a Sticky thread for CL ads?

And just for personal clarification, is it a problem when I update my own items listed here that have not sold when I send them to ebay, or should I create a new thread in the ebay section?

Hey, by the way, did you get your 18" pie yet Ed?

This has always been my understanding of what this section is for....Member's Items For Sale ........

Man, I always leave my stuff in the For Sale section, and add the item number or link when it goes active on eBay.

I think the eBay section is for items of special interest that a Member wishes to be brought to the attention of the Forum.

Maybe Webmaster or Admin will clarify this, but that's my take on the intent.....

If I'm wrong, please don't beat me Master !!

I agree with this....for sale section is for members selling stuff, not "hey look what i found on....insert random website here...."
