May 27, 2010 - Drum Key Collection

Loading...

I told myself one day I would document all of my drum keys. Why? I'm not sure exactly, but as I find photos, history and catalog pages showing drum keys I wanted to have a place to keep the history.

So I thought a great starting point was to just photo all of the keys I have.

Then when I find catalog pages I have a location to keep it.

I still have not found a patent for the "Drum Key" like we know it today.

Hi,

I had the same idea three years ago and now you can see the result:

www.drumkeys.eu

The site is partly in reconstruction, but it works.

Btw. David, I am very interested in two or three keys in your collection. Couldn´t we make a deal?

Thanks

Hey Arno

Nice collection, I have seen your web site before. It is nice to see the changes. I had always had my keys on the Guide, but not presented very nice.

Here was the old way

The new key page took some time as you know. I took 6 pictures of each drum key to show every angle. So that is 42 drum keys and a total of 252 photos!

When you get the English version, I want to link to it from our web sites.

Thanks, you have some very interesting drum keys.

Which keys were you interested in?

Hi David,

thanks for nice message, I will try to finish the English version ASAP.

I am interested first of all in this two Slingerlands - golden and black,

this CAMCO with letters upside down and the key nr. 13.

Maybe next week I´ll get my own drum key. Will then post a picture.

Regards

Hi David,

I came back to our old conversation which we had four years ago.

Do you still have your drum key collection? And do you have any new adds? Last time I wrote you I´m interested in your Slingerland black and golden keys. Do you still have them? Could it be possible to purchase them by you?

In meantime my collection has grown, it has now about 560 keys.

Let me know.

Arno
