We used to make bikinis out of Crown Royal bags and sell them to spring breakers in Florida. They looked pretty good on the girls...........

Closer still.....

Still need the key holder (on the way) and a key.

The mounting holes for the muffler had been plugged, and they still are....

I'm probably not going to reinstall one, it sounds great without one anyway.

An old Slingerland calfskin snare batter was out of work, so I gave it a new assingment!

There's a repair behind the badge.

A former Mensa candidate removed the badge possibly by hitting it with a hammer from the inside.

The hole is a little larger than the grommet on the interior, but slightly larger than badge sized on the exterior.

So, for now, the badge is taped on for the purposes of this photo.

I'm going to wait a couple of weeks for the repair to really cure well before I try to reinstall the well-battered badge.

Kevins – Now you’ve got me thinking we should be marching this 4th of July. I’ve got this big 14x16 Slingerland that you might remember. (I linked the photo below.) I just got the heads on it, an Aquarian American Vintage and an Ambassador snare side. These days I had to wait on a special order for the 16” snare side. This thing sounds classic though and has got me thinking about marching drums.
