Here's a great looking snare. I've never seen this finish before but isn't that the incorrect strainer that belongs on this drum? Also the wrap looks added on too with the 2 seams and another grommet hole? Maybe it's a newer drum with an old badge? Thanks in advance for any input.

It's a re wrapped Frankie!!! two vent holes??, wrong strainer should be a p-83 not a p-85, and the badge is missing paint from reapplying the eyelet!!Rip off!!:(
And the badge is straight up repro. They are all over the place. This guy is a real work of art! I asked him about the bad wrap....let's see what kind of crap he comes up with. I saved the 2 vents and badge for later...

As a vintage piece, the value is shot.. as a players drum, it's worth something.. not the asking price though.
Dear noelm707,
OK, so...why is the wrap patched toether under the strainer? I should have been wrapped into the scarf joint. And the hoops should be NOB, not chrome. Something about this drum says NOT! As in NOT a real vintage drum. Check your source before you end up selling and getting a SNAD and more bad feedback.
