I have an 18" slingerland floor tom it is from the 80's with the 4 octagonal legs

it is standard Black.

My gigging kit is a 1970 blue sparkle slingerland and my studio/practice kit is a Black kit (8-10-12-14-16x16, 16x18 22inch kick)

I think as I get older I am getting more O.C.D. because it has started to bother me that I use the black 18" with the blue sparkle kit.

Ok my question ...... Is there such a thing as "temporary wrap" like when I use the 18 with the blue sparkle.... I could have the sparkle wrap....and If I gig with the black kit I could remove it easily?

Do it that way, and cut it short for the heads to clear. From 5 ft, no one will see it anyway. And it could be done as a R&R wrap with velcro if you do it right.

But Blue Sparkle isn't thin - does anyone know of any sparkle wraps which are both thin and look like a drum wrap ? Glosses & metallics and some pearls are thin - but not sparkles-

Velcro held back from edge is interestng - but what a pain in the butt to remove every lug and leg mount everytime you wanna make the change
