K . Zildjian 14, what date?

Loading...

Stamp is about 1.5 in. high, with the very faint, tiny star above the moon, just can’t quite get a good pic on this one. Again the star would fit inside the crescent. Are we late 50s to mid 60s on this one? Weight is about 805 gm. Would there be any ideas of today’s value?

Thank you for your input/opinions.

It could be used for one. But it appears that this one has been used as a hi-hat.

Given that the wear is a little way in from the edge, do you think this was paired with a slightly undersized mate? Not as big a difference as 13 on 14, but something undersized. Perhaps I'm reading too much into the wear pattern but it isn't like the pattern on my equal sized hats.

Yes good eye. This one actually measures 13 7/8ths. It was paired with a 70s A. Zildjian, 533 gm. which measures 13 1/8". A crispy combo.
