Where does she find this stuff at??? I bet it doesn't sell!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/1966-LUDWIG-BLACK-OYSTER-PEARL-RINGO-SET-w-14-SNARE-/360261098767?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item53e13c1d0f
Pooder is in the house> Bet it doesn't sell??
Its pretty easy to find it when you are manufacturing the stuff yourself......just like repercussions.....this one's a re-wrap. How can I tell?? How about the fact that the wrap is extremely shiney and the badge grommets aren't aged at all! The only nice "original" pieces in that kit is the incorrect year for the kit hi-hat stand and the unmolested supraphonic. Note that the badge grommet on the supra is aged the same as the badge as opposed to the toms and bass drum.
As far as selling it at this price.....some unsuspecting unknowledgable person probably will pay it just because they have to have THAT "Ringo" kit.

My :2Cents: Original covering??? HA!! Thats a good one! Take a look at the looooong picture slideshow....the closeups of the badges clearly show that they have been removed and replaced using new grommets! Who does she think she's fooling??!!??? Its a re-wrap with a bunch of mismatched thown together stuff to make a "Ringo" kit.....DOH
Spurs. Check the spurs.
Those were offered in the 50s thru the ... Whatever. The point is you didn't get those spurs on a superclassic or high ender. My guess is this bass came from a standard or the like and was rewrapped. That's my guess.
I don't have the 1966 catalog but I do have the 1967 catalog on page #14 is a Jazzette kit and it has the same spurs! as Pooders kit!! it still will not sell! at leaast she didn't have that stupid music of her's going on this auction!!!!

The Jazzette came standard with those spurs, the downbeat though.......I suppose someone could have ordered them that way, or like Michael suggests, it could have been a Standard series drum re-wrapped to look like a classic series drum....anyway you look at it there is much dishonesty happening with this auction and seller (as per usual)
Yeah, L-D and mcjnic I totally agree with you both, the kit we are seeing is not what it is represented to be!! "pooder" she's a real piece of work for sure!!!: mad:
Just make sure to block her from your auctions! Both the regular pooder and the secret alternate pooder that has the same swimming pool in the background of her auction photos.
