This would be a good deal as long as it's good condition, the cases are nice, the stands are all nice a slingerland 70's boom stand, ludwig stands speed king and a complete zildjian A cymbal set, if no issues yes it's a good deal, clear interior shells ludwig's best maple shell, IMO, keep us posted on it!!

Got em but had to pay the full $1,200. They appear to be as stated, excellent, one owner condition. The set, cymabls, hardware, cases all purchased in 1972. I dropped them off at the drum shop to replace the heads and re-glue the seams. Two questions, what heads work well on these and any value to keep the original heads for resale. Not certain I wll keep the set as it was sort of an impulse buy. Was looking for a practice set and came accross these which seemed somewhat rare to find a complete, one owner set in such good shape. Couldn't really judge the sound with the old heads.

Congrats!! yes retain the original ludwig heads you always want to keep original if possible, also use either ludwig white coated top and bottom, or remo ambassador single ply or emperors double ply!!
