Zildjian K Istanbul 16"

Hello everyone!

I bought old 60´s Premier drumset from Finland and this 16" Zildjian came with the set.

I think its "old stamp" K.

Seller said, that holes for rivets are factory made and nerver used.

I can believe that, because there are no marks of rivets.

There is no keyhole at all.

Weight is 1000gr.

There is light signature under bell.

Any idea how much it is worth?

That's a beautiful cymbal!

The rivet holes look large, are they? I have a 16" 50's K sizzle pretty much like that one and I just measured the rivet holes and they look like 5/32" (just a hair over 1/8", which makes sense because the rivets are, I believe, 1/8".

I would never have had the guts to drill an old K for rivets but am I glad someone (the factory?) did. I love that cymbal. I can play the cup and it hardly makes the rivets sound, which is kinda weird. A very, very useful cymbal, I'd be fine with just that cymbal at a gig. Mine is drilled for 6 rivets but I'm only using 4.

Was I the only one that thought the rivet holes looked large... like twice as big as normal?

Rivet holes are large.

About 8,5 millimeters = 0,334645669 inch.
