I've been turned down a number of times because ebay sellers won't allow Canadian bidders. Is there more to it than just the extra shipping charges? Is it that much of a hassle to ship to Canada?
I'm just asking.
It's a little frustrating when you finally find something that you're looking for and then find out you can't bid or buy.
I even have an address in the USA that I have some items shipped to when I buy with my Credit Card. But when it comes to eBay, because my account is registered in Canada, I don't even have the option of having it shipped to my USA address: I get banned from bidding right from the start.
Someone on a Forum that lives in the USA is willing to bid for me and ship an item to me that way. I haven't used his offered services yet and it's very generous of him to do that - he doesn't even know me except for the Drum Forum.
Thoughts?
