Put the last lug(s) on that align correctly, stick the thing out in the sun and let it heat for a while then attach some duct tape and try to pull it back to the original spot using the duct tape as handles. just a thought.
FYIDon't forget the fat chick...any time there are duct tape handles in use, there must also be a fat chick involved. It is an obscure law in N.C. written in Nv. 1973:
"When the use of Duct Tape Handles is emplyed for the express repair or restoration of Slingerland or Ludwig drum wraps, there must be a paid, salaried or Unionized Fat Chick to perform such skilled labor. For the purpose of this law, "Fat Chick" shall be defined as any female, certified of gender, hieght irrelevant, but in excess of 346 lbs.
Said person shall be in control of Duct Tape Handles for a minimum of 51% of the time of the repair, or drummer/restoration tech/repairman shall be in violation of Fair Labor Practices Standards and shall be subject to a fine of not less than $5.00, nor more than $250.00 for the first offense. Any person found in violation of the law and convicted of a second offense shall be registered as a sex offender, or and is to be punished by forcible ora....."
I think you get the gist of this abscure law, and please, don't be a criminal, nor should you discriminate on your helper...Sorry Mark, law has supplanted you as a helper, or at least requires you to bring the proper helper along.....
