Yes, they are cool in a Jetsons type of way, but to me they fall in the category of stuff people do this not because they should, but simply because they can.

That's something that been in a way liberating about the internet. It makes me feel way less like a weirdo than I thought I was. If I can think of something, no matter how weird or bizarre it is, there's usually someone else who already has not just done it, but has a forum about it and meets with others on Tuesday nights someplace in Portland to talk about it. :)
