Hi Kevins, I may have to part it out but only as a last resort. Sentimental value I guess, I bought the set in 1965 when I was 15 yrs. old. Lots of memories there, especially paying for it by mowing lawns @ $5.00/lawn. I can't remember when or where I bought the floor cymbal stand, it looks good and funtional but there is no brand stamped anywhere. If imported, it's a good import for those days. I've got to say in the $200-$450 zone(depending on how you sell it). Club date kits are going for around $700-$800 right now. The main factor for pricing yours, is that it doesn't come with the matching floor tom(A main piece worth around $300). Overall the set looks to be in good condition and semi-complete. Talk to me through email or somthing and I will give you a better evaluation and some tips on how to sell.
you have 3 ludwig drums that are desireablemyself and drumbum3131 often disagree on prices of clubdates, these kits are getting the respect that they have deserved all along! if fact they are better sounding than the super classics are!! your 3 drums are worth at least $500.00 just the ludwig drums, and a clubdate kit 3 days ago sold on ebay for $1,450.00 really look it up!! and I myself just sold a 4 piece club date duco kit for $1000.00 it had a jazz festival with it!

Now that news made my day, can't tell you how good that is to hear about. That's the range I was hoping for. I have been seeing some of that on Ebay, but was getting worried about that lack of floor tom. I agree with you about the sound, they are unique.

Glad to be of help, listen there are some forum members that want your floor tom sell it them! track what pioneer snare drums are selling for on ebay I think you already are, so you know their worth,the bass drum and tom are both desireable sizes, and if they are as clean as your pics then your good to go!
I am just jumping into the conversation and am new to the site, but seeing the prices for vintage kits now is crazy. I remember about 15 years ago you could pick up a 60's era Ludwig for around $200-$300, now they are well into the $1000's...Amazing. Being in such demand, these kits have now become difficult to find; However, I have to share with people that would understand (my wife isn't quite as enthused as I am to have another drum kit taking up space in the basement). I just came across a 3pc (BD,TT,FT) 1967 gold sparkle Ludwig Club Date set at a garage sale and picked it up for $35.00. Although the kit needs some cleaning, it is actually in fairly good shape. The only parts I am missing are 1 floor tom tension rod, the cymbal arm, and a wing nut for the cymbal mount. The kit has the original front BD head and felts and has relatively little rust. Baring any unforeseen shell damage when I take the heads and hardware off, restoring and playing this kit will be a great project for my 8 year old son and me.

Although I probably would have rather won the Mega-Millions Lottery jackpot, I am very happy with this find-especially for $35.00 (also got a late 60's 18" Advedis Zildjian thrown in)! After closer examination, the shells are in excellent condition; i.e. no pits, heavy scratches, cracks, and they still appear to be in round. In addition, except for some minor rust on a couple lugs and tension rods, with a good cleaning, a little touch up paint on the BD hoops, and new heads, this kit is gig ready.

A Daisy Red Ryder bb gun and a Daisy model 102 bb gun!! And I also got an Italian cap gun that looks like a little .25 cal revolver. Those kids will stay off my lawn, now! ;)
