Hey Grant. This is MY guide on what I PERSONALLY pay for MIJ stencils. First, if that is a 14x14, and it is a 3 ply, snap it up if you can, they are cannons! As for snares, that is a crap shoot....many people tend to think they are worth a ton....but that ain't really the deal. If the snare is 100% correct, then go play it, and if you like it, I usuaaly pass at anything over 40-ish for sstencils...just my own guide. 3 ply snares are really low toned, the thicker ones snap better.
Back to the floor tom. That is something more subjective to me. Those are hard to find, hell, any 14" floor tom is hard to find. If it is 3,4 or 5 plies it is a great drum and the thinner the better it wil resonate. The 6 and up will be more ringy and a handful to tune, unless you are willing to play the old contour game on the edges. Now, as for the $$ on those, do you have red sparkle bass and tom? If not, and you are trying to put together a kit, it can be a minor headache, unless mismatched lugs is no biggie to you. I would say 50-60 if the tom is really nice and exceptionally resonant. If it is a 3 ply, 75 is a great deal, as
those are getting snapped up and put to work on American kits because they are becoming so expensive. On the other hand, if you can walk away with both for 50 bucks, RUN, FORREST, RUN!
I am paying in USD, so keep that in mind.
