The mij rods are metric. Not sure about the cymbal mount, looks like a hex rod would be used. Might try ebay.

That hex-rod cymbal arm is a mystery to me-that particular mounting reciever is not on any of the catalog pages.They are either a regular round rod or an L-arm.You should PM O-bop on this one.That lug shape was stuck in the middle of the old pseudo-Slingy,Dixie,and typical later 70's style.And the tom mount isn't in the catalog,either.The cymbal arm reciever was used for the double tom mount that went from one hex rod to two arms.HMMMMM.

Hi Mattc,I think i could help you..first your set is from very late 1969 to sometime in 1975 pearl used that lug on the lower end drums they made..If i recall right your shells are 5 ply with-out rings...Now for the l-arm cymbal mount,some one replaced that with a tom mount piece--look at your ride tom it should be the same..Why i say this about the mount if you look very close you can see the out line of the mount that should be on the drum..The mount that should be on the drum would look like a floor tom leg mount on your floor tom..It has a rounded hole for the L-arm to go into ,the hole on the mount is 3/8" around...Mikey

Teverson-sr,You are somewhat right about the mount..The mount on the bass drum for the L-arm is Wrong if you look very good at the photo you can see the out line of the mount that should be on the bass.Mount that should be on the bass looks like a floor tom leg mount..The mount that is on the bass now is a tom mount not a L-arm cymbal mount...Mikey

Oh Mattc,On your Apollo snare drum Yes the missing t-rod in a thinner Odd size metric rod..If you like P.M. me i have them also would have the L-arm cymbal mount that should be on your bass drum..Mikey

Those are the 3 ply, smooth maple shells with re-rinmgs. I can see the ring on the bass. And they sound wonderful when they are properly set up. And the parts....I have seen a set of thoise locally, but the guy wants more than I think they are worth, missing parts and what not.
