1940 Leedy Broadway Standard 6.5x14

Loading...

I have an opportunity to pick up this 6.5x14 Leedy drum. All original parts except for new heads stamped 1940 inside. White Lacquer with minor paint chips here and there. Looks nice overall. $200. Should I do it? What is it really worth? $300?

It is a 3 ply drum supposedly.

Thanks,

Adam

Snag it, if you don't like it you can sell it for a profit. Looks like a solid shell to me.

Anyway you look at it, thats DIRT cheap for a Broadway snare.....I've seen these trade for 5-6 times that depending on overall condition and finish. Plus they sound AMAZING! Want to know what one sounds like? Listen to anything by Cream that is done in the studio....thats a Leedy Broadway snare you hear ole' Ginger playing. :D
