From Ralf

Mikey777 is joking. He tries to play an April Fool's joke on us. (Nice idea - Mikey777 LoLoLoLo)Star NEVER was an early Pearl. All information I 've found here or anywhere else in the world are contradictionary to stating Star = early Pearl's.TAMA itself states on it's forum website: 'Discussions on Star Drums...Tama's Predecessor.'TAMA itself states on the TAMA catalogs website it's early STAR catalogs.(Pearl never would allow TAMA to claim the STAR roots, if it were Pearl's, due to copyright etc., right?)Ralf

Sorry Guy's i had too do one more April Fool's joke in last one of the dayLaughing HLaughing H...But to clear things up--Pearl Never made Star drums...Hoshino/Tama did...But Pearl was the first one to inport drums under Pearl's name and used alot of other names in the 60's....Mikey
