Those are awesome, beautiful! I hope they go to someone who will appreciate them. They will be a great project for someone that wants to do a deep cleaning/restoration.

Nicely priced, too. I would love to buy them, but I just bought a BDP set...

99% original and 95% complete . . .

Of the four drums, one is non-original.

Of all that would have come with the kit, only three drums remain. A missing Tom arm is only one small item that is missing.

Your work with percentages is ... wanting. ; )

Are the shells all 3 ply? Have you looked at them all? I can see the snare is, and with that type of hardware, it would seem to me they would be. I see the bass has a cymbal mount in front of the tom mount, is that missing as well, and are the spurs what I see down in front? If they are 3 ply, I may take them.

PM sent.

Finally back to Japan after 6 days in Baltimore with folks- I hadn't been on VDF- this kit is a beauty- maybe a 68 Pearl stencil eh? The tom holder and bass hoops, the lugs all say 68 to me- even the wrap was a Pearl brand stock wrap in 68/69. Someone pick this one up. I can`t fit any more at the moment

Excuse me Sr. Which of the drums is not original? Please enlight me.

I dont see any non-original drum on the set

If you refer the snare as non-original because it has "different" lugs I prefer not to comment

Now for the missing tom arm. from about a hundred of parts on the set (counting lugs, hoops, brackets, shells, strainer, etc, etc) that would be what? around 5%?

If you consider the stands and pedal that CAME with the set ,then you're right, I apologize but I didnt mean to fool anybody

At least dont you think its great price?

It's humor. That's why I put the little 'winky' guy at the end. Please don't take that post as me slapping you down. I'm just funnin' and grinnin'. That's all there is to that.

Say it with me........H....U....M....O....R

Does it strike anyone else as odd that "humor" is but one letter away from "tumor". Kinda creepy.

And for the record...that is a seriously nice kit and worth every penny. No joke there.
