I found a set and am wondering if they are worth buying. They have a black pebble wrap rusty hardware and one shell needs some glue and a clamp. They are asking $20.

do you mean black diamond pearl?? either way that's a good price as long as they have no other issues!

No not black diamond pearl....it's almost like a rubber pebble grain material. May be a cover over? It has a paper stick on badge.

Matbe you;ll get lucky and that is contact paper or something and saved the actual finish. for $20.00 still is a good deal! as long as you can use them!

I've never seen them with a paper stick on decal, a real badge yes paper no!

Oh sure. Ludwig was known for paper tags. Where have you been? It's common knowledge.

no. never seen a paper badge. I was commenting on the description of the actual wrap. He mentioned it was black pebble. Thought that might be a match.
