Rewrapped 18,14 &12 I.D

I have these drums at one of my practice spaces and i took off the bottom skins as well as the front of the bass. They are 18", 14" and 12", from looking inside they are rewrapped (very poorly), there is a Premier Rack Tom mount that doesnt look original, or at least, there were other hole drilled besides the ones used for the mount. They also have a peculiar type of tuning lugs that look like they use a flat side screw driver to tune (its what i use at least) Ive never seen this type of hoop either, does anyone know anything about these? Maybe they arent American and this is in the wrong section... I just didnt think they were Premiers necessarily because the rack mount either looks like it was re screwed improperly or this is more of a mutant kit than i thought. These belonged to a school for awhile as far as i know but now i use them to practice at a lower volume.. Thanks fellow drummers!

They're Premiers all right. The tuning pegs are typical of Prems as are all the extended shell-length lugs. I've had a couple of kits in my day but wouldn't hazard too much of a guess datewise except to say no later than late 70s. Someone in here knows better than I do. You don't see a lot of 18" Premier bass drums or 14" floor toms though.

Cool! Thanks, the floor tom has a crack inside but otherwise id like to re-rewrap them as possibly my first try ever doing something like that, i also really like the sound of the them with no bottom skins and im not usually that kinda guy. I wish i knew what the original wrap was! The bass drum hoop is made out of something besides metal or wood, like a plastic or fiberglass..is this common on Premiers?
