I didn't want to attempt to steal your thunder so to say, but these Concert King's are kinda rare I guess. Yours is much nicer than mine. Here's my 1960 8 X 15 as well. I wrapped it since the drum had issues on the outer ply. I've had this for years... I got it at a yard sale for two dollars, but missing gobs of parts. It had belonged to the San Luis Obispo Community College and is labeled that with paint on the outer mahogany ply. I used this snare for years with my big Camco kit. The thump this drum delivers is simply incredible. A rim shot on this thing is guaranteed to move anyone about a foot back if too close to the stage... Guess I should take it out of it's bag and polish it up! Try and make it half as nice as yours.

Are these very collectible? I've been looking at one thats been posted on CL for a while now, but the 15" head size has held me back. It's always been my understanding that the 15" snares don't really bring in as much as the 14"s. What would I expect to pay for one in decent shape?
