...black and white vid of the sax and horn vids...that would be cool. very cool.
My Website is Up
No matter what you do to record, It will never sound as good a live.I deal with colors all day every day. I have real samples and I look at samples on the internet and they usually dont depict the tru color. You have done a hell of a job jaye, makes my website www.fisherautotrim.com look like premier APK shells. lol
That's a pretty good site, Poppy. I lucked out, really. Found a web designer on Craigslist who I really hit it off with. Guy is good, not just with all the tech mumbo-jumbo, but he has a good design sense, also. I have 2 degrees from design school...so the combo of the two of us really was a good pairing.
I agree regarding soundfiles...doesn't matter how hi-tech the recording gear is. Whenever I look at soundfiles/vids....all I really think they are worth is determining the relative sound of one cymbal or horn to another.
This one is washier...this one is brighter, this one is darker, this one is smoother, this one is punchier.....
They are very helpful; but I agree....cannot really say they give an accurate representation of the real thang.
B/W...hehehe...I like it, McJ......

Don't tell my wife!
Jaye, I am behind this one big time. I love what you are doing and will support it every chance I get. I put kiddos behind kits several times a year. I'll keep my eyes on your site to stay current. Kudos.
Awesome site Jaye.
Jaye, great work...I know first hand the sheer number of hours that go into a web site! With the Zoom recorder, the trick is to put the mic gain on low, and then amplify with a software program.
What does the 24" trans stamp weigh?
Thanks,
Bill
The orphan club date Ludwig rewrap seems affordably priced too for what those shells are! Nice job man, bookmarked. :)
Thanks for the comments and suggestions.
mlvibes...haven't gotten a weight on the 24" yet...hopefully manana. What kind of software could I use to tweak the Q3's MOV file ?
cn679...you are onto me. :o The stuff which seems overpriced...I really don't wanna necessarily part with (but I would, if...well, y'know...)
I am actually holding back a fair amount of stuff, so check back every month or so because hopefully the stock will be turning.
Cheers.
everything's for sale huh? For the right price, that is! lol
