i came across a radio king snare i am trying to rebuild and so far i got quite a bit sunk into it. does anybody body have any ideas on whats its worth as is and what's the most i could get for it if i wrap it and clean it up. it sounds really good.

Is the shell in round???, that will answer the wrap it question, with the extra holes and missing parts, maybe in the 200.00 range, if you like how it sounds then as a player it would be worth fixing up! radio king owners are usually fairly knowledgable, and a fickle bunch. i know i'm one of them!! a 30=40's radio king snare drum has not many equals!!

its not out of round, but there are two holes that have been drilled into it and i have all the parts to it. do you think there is any way i could get around 600 or 700 bucks? or i am crazy for asking that?

Yeah that won't be happening, maybe the $250-$300+ range!!, so you are able to put a modern plastic head and it will rotate freely around the shell radius?? that is in round! good luck!
