Hello. I have a 1930’s era Ludwig bass drum, single tension, 30” x 16”, badge intact, shell is in ok condition, missing one tension rod and claw. I also have an older, single tension, 14” x 10” snare drum with wood hoops (missing top hoop) that I assume is Ludwig and from around the same time as the bass drum. I would just like to know if either of these drums would be of any interest to collectors. Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Can you post some pics absolutely it is of interest to many of us here, count me in!! thank you for posting it!!
I will post pics in the next day or two hopefully. What is the drum worth if it is complete and in ok shape? The drum I have has some signs of wear: lots of scuffs and light scratches, but nothing major. It also has one older Remo coated Weather King head and one very old Evans head. Thanks.

IT would just be guessing with out the pics, please post them, and you'll get a fair assessment from the forum!! thanks!
I have pictures, but the files are too big to post. I will send them to anyone interested via email. Send me an email and I will reply with the pics. Thanks.
You can reduce them by opening your picture in "Paint"... select "image" ... go to "stretch and skew" and enter 50% or so... then select "file", rename, and use that file to post
Thanks for the suggestion. However, I am a Linux based user. No Microsoft for me, Ubuntu all the way! And honestly I don't have the time to do all the modifications. It's just easier to send the pics via email for me. Sorry if that isn't good for some of you.
"Hi, I'm new here. Can everyone here please give me your pricing expertise for free? Here are the details...there aren't any details. Providing more details will be at my convenience of course, not yours, because honestly I don't have the time. Sorry if that isn't good for some of you."
Tell ya what...these drums are on eBay all the time. Go there, and use their excellent search function on completed auctions to find out the selling prices.

Whatever.........
Ok people, here is the deal. If you bothered to read my post, I was simply asking if the drums that I have are of interest to collectors. I wasn't asking for pricing, or authentication, or anything that required research. I simply asked if they would be of interest to collectors. Period. I know that some drums are highly coveted and others are not. I searched ebay and found nothing of the sort of my type of drums. Hence my asking my question on this forum. And I am fully aware that pictures would help. But if you are truly interested, you can send me your email address and I can email pictures to you, as one individual already has done. If you can't handle the fact that I have a busy schedule and more important things to do than fight with a bunch of pictures, then that's your problem. The rude comments made were unnecessary.
