Slingerland Tom Mount Question

Can anyone tell me if this tom mount could have been original on a late 50's Slingerland bass drum?I cant find a picture of this holder anywhere in the Slingerland, Rogers, or Ludwig books, but this is the mount that came with the drum. Also, does anyone know how difficult it would be to get the bar that would have sat on the two holders?

Thanks!

James

The 59' Slingerland catalog on this website shows a consolette tom mount, but is not a detailed picture.Unless there are extra holes in the immediate area I'd assume it's original. There are consolette parts on Ebay all the time.

Nice catch Olddrums! I just found a picture of a 60's Ludwig consolette on this website that is an exact match to what I have pictured above. I've attached a picture below. Guess I wont be using that one. I also have the rail from a Walberg and Aule consolette that was added on the right side of my drum. I think I may try to find the missing pieces for that and add it to my drum. Any one have some extra pieces lying around?

Thanks guys!

Yes,I have them, what parts do you need for the mount? you say you have just the rail part right? so you need the mount and the l-arm right? Anyway P.M. ...By the way the mount you have a photo of on the right, that mount was also used on gretsch,Rogers...Mikey
